spacer lift q?

just to clear this up in my head, can you still have the alignment issues, shaking, and cv joint issues with a spacer lift? and would you still want aftermarket uca's with a 3" or lest spacer lift?????

 

Spacer is the cheapest and one of the worst lifts you can put on. If you are really on a budget, it will work, but in my opinion, you should save up and get better lift components. Even Bilstein 5100's would be better

 

You will need an aftermarket UCA if you go with a 3" spacer and want to correct your alignment issues.

 

yes, if you lift your truck, regardless of what method of lift you use you will need to have it aligned. aftermarket uca's will help bring alignment specs close to ideal.

take it from a guy who knows this from experience, please please please spend the extra $50 and get the ome coils and aal from toytec instead of the spacer lift. you will hate it once you get it!

If you were to get a lift and uca's that are a reasonable price, what would you get. if possible will you send links so i can look at them and read about them.

 

If you run the Bilstein 5100s in the front. You can get 2.5" of lift. To match that you will need an block or aal in the rear that lifts 1.5" As far as the UCA goes. It is not required. The UCA corrects the Caster angle. This keeps the vehicle going nice and straight down the road instead of wandering, but does NOT wear the tires. When you lift your truck the caster becomes low. A lot of people run their stock arms and are just fine though.

 

Go w/ suspension rather than spacer..I wish I would've...just get the Billy 5100s, thats what i'm doing, then you can get the adj. COs down the road
