That's a big negative! I'll eventually get the courage to do it someday..

I thought I've seen people do it on the newer Tacomas but I can say for sure. Try the search option.

I did mine myself. Hardest part is getting them off the truck!
and working up the courage to stick them in an oven...

Just read and follow all the BHLM and retrofit threads. Did them both in an afternoon. I wont do it for anybody else's truck, but I can offer tips ;)

Pshhhh easy as pie! I'll help you out, send a PM. I do however recommend if you are considering a projector retrofit to do it at the same time, I mean it only makes sense. But if not the BL could be done in as little as 3 hours considering waiting for the paint to dry.

I could do it for you guys too. The only thing that bothered me about it was reinserting the bezel back into the lens. I had to rehit the paint several times. The corners touch just a tad in some areas for some stupid reason.

I've torn apart the headlights on the last 4 vehicles I've owned. It's not a hard job if you take your time. There is a very good write up linked below on the process here and list all the parts and tools you'll need. All I have to say, is take your time. It's worth the wait to get it done right and make it look good.

Mine did. I wouldn't worry about it. especially since the new Tacoma SR comes with BHLM.

HIDs or retrofits will not pass safety or recon tho.
