I just bought a mictuning 41.5" LED light bar. I'm wondering if anybody has any cheap ideas to mount it without buying a cargo basket, a headache rack, or drilling into the roof (which I don't want to do)? I like the cargo basket but I don't want to spend the money. I just want a metal bracket that will fit my truck and look clean.

You spent a few hundred dollars on a light bar and you haven't any way to mount it? Interesting...

Not sure how much you paid for the bar, but mounting it cheaply could prove costly.
I'd say you're going to have to drill into the cab in order get a bracket mount that will hold it secure against vibration and the elements.

Take a look at this ^^^ thread, there's custom brackets made by Dirt Designs spoken of in there. You might want to PM the OP and ask for a heads up on how to get a set, sounds like what you're describing minus the drilling part.
    Good luck.

I planned on drilling into the roof at first and then when we were about to do it the people who were installing it didnt recommend it so I didnt

Been looking myself but I have an access cab which makes it much harder and everything requires drilling :(
