    I looked into it but there is a lip in between the inner and outer surrounds on the 2012 and up grill that prohibits mounting the mesh in this fashion.

    how thin does the metal need to be to pinch it between? is 22g carbon steel strong enough but thin enough? or does it need to be different? thanks in advance!
