I have a silver 4DR trying to go with a Silver and Black theme..(black rims, tint, etc) I just need some help with the headlights. I don't know what to do between aftermarket heads, Halos, retrofit and such, or attempt the BHLM. I don't know the whole process for the BHLM so any advice on that would help.

I am new to this site but love upgrading and improving my Taco, just need a little rookie advice ya know? I'd appreciate any input! Ill get pics up soon.

If you do BHLM while you have the headlight open just take it a step further and do a retrofit, I'm in the middle of mine right now, I have both headlights opened awaiting paint and parts.

Wasn't that difficult to get open

Looks great! What parts and etc. did you have to order for the retrofit? Any advice from where to buy? Thanks

I'm halfway through, and so far quite easy.

I will have 150 in projectors, 50-60 in HIDs, and 10-20 in misc supplies.
I also have 80 in a second set of headlights because I knew I was going to stretch this out over more then a day and need to drive the truck in the mean time.

Opening was easier then I thought it would be. I pre-heated the oven too 300, set the light and and turned the oven off, waited 10 mins then took the light out and started pulling it apart. There are great write ups in the Lighting section like this, and many more.

Super easy Mod. Follow the links posted and you'll have them done in not time. I bought Halo Headlights then just did the BHLM on my factory ones....Kinda like the factory ones better now. Coulda saved myself $300.00

It's easy, if you know how to turn a wrench and drill a hole you're good to go. Complete guide in my signature. It's easy and gives you something fun to do with better output than just buying a set of aftermarket lights and way cheaper than having somebody else do it
