I've got the OME 3" lift on my truck. Can you add a 6" DB lift to that without changing anything on the OME lift or do you have to remove the current lift kit first?

Gonna be awhile before I do anything but don't want to order the wrong kit.

If you run them together you will net roughly 9" of front lift. So to answer your question, you will have to remove the OME and either get a db lift with coilovers, or use the OME shocks with the stock springs and the spacer that comes with the db lift.

You'll have to be more specific. I'm a novice when it comes to lifts.

Why won't the lift I have work with a DB lift?

What makes them not work together?

I love the OME lift so I'd like to keep it if possible. Not even sure I'm going to get a DB lift but wanna know just in case.

How the 6" db work (most of them anyways) is to utilize a large coil spacer to provide the lift. So if you were to put that on top of your already 3" lift, you'd net 9" of front lift. The actual drop bracket itself relocates the lower control arms and the diff( if you have one) to retain better geometry.

What are you looking to achieve overall? Just more lift for visual purposes?

If you get the basic db lift kit yes it is possible to bolt the spacer on top of your ome coilover assy but don't think I would reccomend it.

Yeah mainly for visual purposes. All the DB kits I've seen, come with shocks but I didn't want to change them if I didn't have to. I drive thru pastures some time but never anything drastic.

I'm not 100% on this, but you might be able to use the OME struts with the stock springs on a basic db lift kit. Again not 100% sure. It theoretically should work, hopefully someone else will chime in on this.

You can run both at the same time for about 9" of lift, depending on what coils you are using and the cab configuration.
