Bedliner on sliders (or bumpers IMO) is a bad idea if you plan to actually wheel the truck and scrape the sliders and bumpers on rocks. The bedliner will get scraped off like anything else and then can start to peel off in larger chunks. I totally looks nasty.

Sounds like you already have it sorted out, but anytime I see a rig with bedlined sliders it's a sure sign that it's a complete poser mall-crawler truck.

I put some roll on Bedliner on mine for grip when getting into the truck and just use rattle can for touch ups when I scrape it off. It will rub off on rocks but it does help when using them as steps. And hopefully you won't be scraping the top of your sliders on rocks much. Nothing wrong with it in my opinion, just know that you'll have to touch it up.

My 2 cents. Grip tape snags your pants or your girls dress as she gets in and out. I just paint mine every spring to freshen them up.

Late notice, but I'm planning on a quick run out to Rattlesnake today. I'll probably top off my fuel tank at the Chevron in Saratoga springs around 12:30. If anyone is interested in joining me, feel free. If you have a CB I'll have mine on ch22. Or if you see me, just come up and say hello.

I posted up on the FB page but I plan on hitting 5-mile next Saturday if anyone is interested?

I got a CB from Wal-Mart for $39. It works just fine. As long as you no far away and stick with a pack on the trail it will do just fine. If you want one to call Truckers about where the best burgers are or where the cops are you might want to invest in a better one. Just my 2cents
