This is probably going to sound pretty noobie, but I can't seem to find the wires that I'm supposed to run the Pop & Lock wires to. Here are the instructions for reference to everything I'm about to talk about.

    http://www.popandlock.net/download/PL8521.pdf.8efb49664f8910a2c0bf9105312b2ae0

Installing the unit itself and running the wires along the frame were no problem. Now the wording of the "4 door models" in step 8 makes me think that I wasn't supposed to run them through the firewall grommet, but I did, as that's what was what it set to do up to step 7. I can't even get to the cab-side of the grommet without taking the kick panel off, so all of that is done. Here's where I'm unsure on what I'm supposed to do.

Of all the wires behind the kick plate, none of them are "Blue/red and blue/black".

Now, there isn't enough wire left over after going through the firewall grommet to run anywhere else, but I removed the lower panel where the seat belt is screwed into, as I believe that's the 'B' pillar. All the wires running through here are completely covered.

I must be doing something wrong or not understanding some terminology. If someone could straighten this out, I would be very appreciative.

Sorry for the late update, but I got the lock installed shortly after the guide was posted. I love that it's linked to second press that unlocks the passenger doors, rather than toggling every time I use the driver door! I just thought I would mention just a couple things that differed for me.

Firstly, the grommet that runs to underneath the front passenger seat looks different from underneath on my truck. I was looking for identical traits to what the guide pictures showed, such as the bumps in the metal of the cab and whatnot, but I believe there are slight differences between my double cab and the author's truck, even though they're the same year. I just got underneath the carpet, found the nearest grommet, and used that one.

Secondly, the wire colors of my Pop & Lock were different. Instead of the blue and brown wires that were in the guide, I had blue and green. I figured the blue wire would go to the same blue/red wire in the guide, but it actually went to blue/black. The green went to blue/red. I didn't find this out until after I used the quick connectors. The lock actuated in reverse, unlocking when I locked the truck and vice versa. But I just swapped the connections up at the lock, and all was fine.

    Thanks!

Doesn't really matter which grommet you ran them through, as long as they got to where they need to go. I used one underneath the passenger seat.

The wire color is different, not sure why. Maybe they're manufactured in different locations and they don't bother using the same color??? Doesn't really matter there either though, I did the same as you, once I had it hooked up if it was opposite, I just swapped the connections with the quick connects.

Glad it worked out for you.
