Question for the professionals. Just want to make sure before making the purchase on some Ride Rite air bags. I have a 08 DCLB Sport with 5100's running 285 70/17. These should still be fine and not too much travel to damage the bags right? Appreciate the help for I did not find a definitive answer.

    .
Should be fine, I have been running bags with 5100's and rear AAL's for a couple of years now. Just keep a minimum of air in there as they say not to deflate them completely.

I love my bags. I do believe I lost a little bit of flex. It also freaks me out when the dealer is working on my truck. I am afraid that the bags will become damaged without the rear axle being supported. I keep a minimum of 5 psi in the bags and have not had any ill effects. I did order the Daystar cradle system and I am going to install them here shortly. I am installing the cradle system because I am installing the Icon AAL 1.5 inch. I do not want the bags to manipulate the suspension any until I decide to haul something.

I like the idea of the cradle system.

Me too. I'll be buying the whole setup after I get my first set of springs replaced under warranty ;) Hoping I can persuade them to install Sport leafs instead of the Off Road ones because they're slightly stiffer. (Linear rate in the sport vs progressive in the off road).
