Sucks man I'm going to have to wait on these deals. I leave for Chicago for a week and then turnaround a day later to go to Newport RI for 2 months. So nobody will be here to pick up the goods. Maybe I'll ask my buddy to store this stuff for me.

    Yep.
How long with this go? Like to pick up a set next week. Also, the description is a bit confusing ... will need new pipe gasket but not a manifold gasket? Almost seems like a typo in the last few sentences

With the long tube headers you will need the upgraded gasket at the collector. Does not matter which of the two current brands you buy.

At the cylinder head, Thorley has you reuse the stock gaskets. JBA provides new ones because of the way they weld their cylinder head flange you cannot use the stock gasket. You will also have to buy new JBA gaskets if you remove or replace the headers down the road. URD does stock these gaskets.

Do you fly the Super Stallion? Do you know Piglet?

    Yep.
Thanks Gadget  Just spent way too much time researching the whole short vs long/JBA vs DT debates as well. So many different opinions out there (and 1000's of threads), even though most would like to retain or gain low end as much as possible, it seems the DT longs win most debates.

I have a little bit of seat time, although I was not a pilot for the shitter beast. Being a Crewchief was better anyway, we have the power :D Served with HMH-464 at New River, NC from FEB03-APR08.

I did know a guy with a nickname "Pig", he was a gunny around that time.

Damnit Gadget. I finally put together most of this kit and all I needed was the UCON flex. Maybe you should do a group buy for the UCON Flex again.

I would recommend calling the shop, on large orders sometimes they can move pricing. Never gauranteed though. Good luck.

How much of a loss would there be by keeping the stock headers and Y-pipe to remain California emissions legal?

What if I get this for a stock engine and add bolt on's later down the road. Would I have to send back the ECM to be programmed ?

What "bolt ons" are you thinking about adding after this set up?? It's got most everything except a supercharger....

And Gadget can send you updated configuration files that you can load - and the UCON will learn as you drive.

I forgot I posted this. Gadget and the folks that build the UCON will work together to make the updates.

Very nice, Gadget. I just wish you had a Y-pipe or headers with optional high flow cats.
