I have an 08 Taco Prerunner lifted on 35s but im getting alot of criticism on lifting a 2wd. Anybody have a general idea of the total cost of the conversion if I were to go through with it plus the pro's and con's. Websites with parts I'd need would be helpful so I can start pricing.

If you don't need 4x4 don't bother. If you DO need 4x4 trade your truck in for a 4x4. It's not worth the hassle of converting it...
Also, enjoy your truck, who cares what other people think. If you had a 4x4 they'd be busting your balls for something else, like only having a v6 or not being full sized.

A lot of people drive 4x4 that never go offroad. And still even more lift and mod their 4x4s that never see offroad.:notsure:

Do you need 4wd? If so the proper way to do a conversion is sell your prerunner and buy a 4x4

If you don't need 4wd don't bother because then you will have to worry about the lift affecting you CV boots. Prerunners don't have CV's to worry about.
