That's about where I'm at anyways. I was looking at a similar set that comes with the detents and the springs.

 

I have a bag of those just in case. I recommend you buy a bunch of spare parts for cheap and keep them stored away. If you're like me and constantly swapping parts around, you'll lose and break/bend those springs and dents pretty often.

 

You can also just go on midway or brownells and get a bunch of whatever you need for like doll hairs each

 

I shot 2 detents across the room and ordered about 5 more. I wasn't smart enough to order the springs along with them... I'll stock up for my next build, right now I just need one spring to finish my current lower.

 

I checked Palmetto, they had them cheap but wanted $7 to ship them

 

yea dont buy cheap stuff from palmetto unless you're going to buy something expensive so you can pile them into the same shipping fee. Like on your next ammo order or something.

 

I lucked out and only launched one detent into orbit on my lower. It would have helped if I had 5 hands and they were about the size of an elf's.

 

We can't get cool shit like ammo shipped to us. We live in the Socialist Commonwealth of Assachusetts. Ammo delivery is verboten. Pussies….

Legally, we can get ammo shipped to us. Our AG threatened a lot of the major companies though so, from what I understand, there are very, very few left that will ship to us and that's only if they know you from past orders. Sucks when online retailers have huge ammo sales!

damn that sucks! Los Angeles City requires ammo orders to be shipped to FFLs and registered with your ID. Luckily I live 1 mile out of Los Angeles City hahaha

 

If you have a source, please PM me. The nearest place I can buy from is 45 minutes away, and the prices aren't bad, but they aren't great either.

 

anyone have experience with either of these? they are on my "to buy" list

I've the got Spike's Dynacomp, it works quite well and I dig the look.

 

dont know about the ones you posted buy my cheapo Amazon comp took out a huge chunk of muzzle rise and recoil from my ARs.

I got a similarly designed comp for my AK and it did the same.
