Need Aftermarket Wiring Help

I have revised my original post instead of making a new thread.

Is it possible to install LED Strip lights and have them function somewhat similar to stock DTRL?
How about if I don't have stock DTRL currently?

Here's what I am thinking:
LED Strip lights in the front.
ON whenever it is that stock DTRL come on (Unsure if it's with shifting out of "P" or with ignition On)
OFF when FOG lights are on.

Would using an On/Off/On rocker switch?

Top On = Fog lights ON
Center OFF
Bottom On = Light Strips ON


I have no idea where I'd need to draw power to have the light strips ON with Shifting our of Park. Any ideas?
I'd also like to keep the shut off function for fog lights/strip lights with ignition off.
Please help.

 

You want to add an auxiliary fuse block and run all of your add-on circuits from there. You'll find a good description of how to do it here:
