One of a kind retrofit!

We'll recently I did a retrofit with mini h1 projectors, red devil eyes and ColorShift halos. I've never seen anyone on here or any other first gen with them so figured I'd share it with you guys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h59YvnE40Y

 

Not my particular cup of tea, but to each his own. I wasn't that ambitious. I was already too nervous to do my retrofit. Maybe down the line I'll decide to do another and get some halos in there. Then again...halos aren't my thing... Cheers!

Just a year behind lol

 

We'll considering that is on a 2nd gen that can easy mount big halos a first gen you can't. that's why you can find a lot of second gens and not first gens.

 

Yeah I can have them set to just one color like white or orange though lol

 

See that would be the cool thing IF mine had halos. Depending on the mood I'm in or whatever suit me one day or another...I could change the color at will. Cool ideas, but what's done is done. I just did my dad's Crown Vic. He wanted halos, I opted the latter.

 

Yeah I like them so far...I drive with white on sometimes and other times when I'm parked I'll have it going through colors haha but yeah I only drive with white, orange and purple. Anyt other color id be harrassed

 

That's true. My city doesn't seem to bother with stopping people with stupid lights. Purple HIDs in reflector headlights, LED bars on in place of headlights...yes I've seen that.

 

Yeah I've see builds on Instagram with led cubes as the low beams and a second cube for the high beam...dick move haha id LightBar someone if they did that to me

 

I'm getting my bumper, front and rear, done this weekend and I'll have a dual row 15" LED bar along with 2 Black Magic 500's so...lots and lots of light in front of the vehicle. The rear bumper is gonna have 2 tabs in case I want to add aux lighting in the rear for camping or blinding. I have no problem blinding people for being dumb with their lights.

 

Yeah I have a 42" up top and when people don't turn brights off after I flash a good flash with the light bar usually gets them to turn them off lol

 

AH! How did you mount them. There's some thread I'm subbed to and some guy got a 50" without measuring his truck. Aren't you in that thread too? I was thinking of a 40" or so on my front bumper, but that be a little large. Maybe a 30"? But anyways, how did you mount a 40"+ up top?

 

Just checked, you are in that thread. We have the exact same truck, model, and color. Minus two doors.

 

Lol yeah my next truck will defiantly be a crewcab. wish I had one now. Doublecab first gens look so good

 

Yeah I'm in that thread lol no way he's getting that up there and if he does it's going to hang off the sides...and I got the mounts custom made and it fits a 42" light bar. And yeah you can put a 30" in the bumper valence

 

Well I'm getting tube bumpers made locally by some awesome guys and the bar will be up front. I'm kind of saving my roof for some Hella's so I can REALLY throw some light into the night. LED's up front are just filler/flood.
