Whistling sound at 50mph in my 2013 taco

I'm posting this because I found this website extremely helpful and want more search results to populate for people with the same situation.

Recently I had discovered a whistling sound at 50mph and above. I searched this site and came across helpful information about resealing the windshield. I took this information to the dealership and offered my .02 found here. Turns out the problem was the seal.

However the dealership still will waste half a tank of gas driving it to figure out the issue. But they followed the lead I gave them.

 

I had this same problem. Open the hood. Look straight down, there will be a piece of weather stripping. Push a piece of 1/4" plastic pipe in there to stop the vibration. Cost me about $1.25.
