It's the black neoprene material. It's around 40 bucks for the sheet.

Would anybody be interested in getting a set of waffleboards like these: http://www.okoffroad.com/stuff-waffleboards.htm

I have contacted a few manufactures of the FRP materials and gotten quotes
for having either a 14”x48” or 16”x48” piece made.
The material is a 2in thick Fiberglass reinforced plastic that can hold an
incredible amount of weight that should be able to support our trucks for
bridging/recovery purposes. The material is kept in stock in 4’x12’
sheets so we would be able to get 8 pieces (4 sets out of a single sheet).
They could also custom manufacture 16”x48” pieces for us @ $66 a piece +
shipping but these would have a 6-7 week lead time.

Having the 4’x12’ sheet cut to our specification would cost ~$167.5
(shipping and fabrication included). I am still waiting to hear back from
another manufacture located closer to us here in Virigina with another
    quote.

Let me know if you are interested and I will pursue this further

I was too, but from what I read in reviews for them is that sand and mud get stuck in them making them extremely heavy and that they are not strong enough to be used as bridging ladders, hence why I started searching for another solution that had similar functionality to the maxtrax without their price tag. Additionally these would be easier to mount on nearly anything.

Maxtrax...for the win. I like the fact that I can stack them and bridge...they're stout like a Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale.

Hello everyone I just moved to the area. Just out of curiosity does anyone know how to put on headers(i4) and could help me? I'd like to avoid spending $200 and a day in the shop if possible.

Thanks! any plans for a future meet up? It seems I just missed the last one.

I can't really help much with the headers, but I'm sure someone around here could!

    Where are you located?

I ordered the DT headers for the 2.7. I'm extremely new to doing my own work on my truck so I'm not sure about the second question.

Dont know if any of you are driving around today, but be careful out there! I just got to my office, and while the roads arent horrible (I didnt really even need to lock it in for most of the commute) there are a lot of dumbasses out today. I got cut off three times by people today and watched 2 different plow trucks run red lights in McLean almost hitting the people with the green light.

Anybody have any rear shocks for sale? I was looking at the RR ones from DSM but they are hefty pricetag for new. One of my 5100s is bleeding all over the driveway so I was just gonna replace the set.

I told everyone at the group meet that I have some used Optima batteries lying around work. Let me know if anyone is interested, they would be about $46 + $18 core. Used is a battery someone thought it was bad and turned it in to us, or it sat on our shelf long enough that we cant sell it.

I don't know much about batteries, is there a way to test the charge on them?
