 hahaha cant go wrong with that.
It does get kinda annoying when the slightest loss of traction holds you up but it makes for a nice little challenge. Snow wheeling especially, there's a few times where i really wished i had it. Nothing a little back up and floor it again didn't fix but for the sake of ease woulda been nice to just press a button and go.

and not only does the cost suck, but swapping gears sucks. it smells like ass, if you dont have a lift then crawling under there sucks dick, I hated fixing my rear diff seal... Meh, maybe i'll just ride my clutch raw so I can upgrade to the URD setup :D and then muster up the effort for gerz.

Also, Monte or Gage, or whoever would maybe be interested in building a steadycam for shooting video.

Pending how much of a bastard it is to balance the current rev of my steadycam I may just build one of these... Super simple and just plain works haha. Every time i've picked up the steadycam i've got now it needs to be tweaked to work right. Pain in my ass...

Actually ockers don't tend to help much in snow..grip in snow in general is a bitch haha

and yea, i know once i get locked ill be able to do SOOOO much more cause i know i have learned how to pick good lines as it is..cause i have too..

    hmm...idk..

i don't like how there isn't must horizontal control. The one you built takes out if you move your hand horizontally...which i think is better.

Balancing is a bitch even for the pro stuff man..no way around it haha real shitty part is switching to different lenses means difference balancing.

Good point lol I've heard some horror stories about lockers in snowy situations but I guess that's the advantage of going the selectable locker route. You can play with both and see what works for the situation. Someone I worked with tried to talk me into going with one of the Detroits...fuck that I don't want that bastard kicking in whenever it feels like it.

I'd disagree with that. Lockers can be bad for off camber slick situations as they can encourage the vehicle to walk sideways under wheel spin but if you just take it easy that's not a big concern. Traction is key im snow and having a locker is just going to increae your traction, especially in deeper snow, it's the difference between 2 tires being dead plow weight and actually pulling themselves throw the snow.

Yeah! Reg cabs and caps look awesome. I started to like them before the tent but liked the idea of an RTT more for camping.

Well, I am still planning on gears. Otherwise I would buy the topper closer to summer time. I don't think the trailer would suck that much.

I don't think I would feel the small trailer to much though. Just keep the weight down and I would probably only notice it when taking off.

Yeah, I have a hard time getting gears. 3k is a lot of other really awesome and useful mods.

If it comes down to it I might. Or just use one of my hammocks or ground tents and leave them as a permanent place. The trailer is going to be nice because I could leave it for a 2 weeks in one spot.

O right, I just have 3k in my head from the previous numbers with duals. Still up there. Someone is selling an ARB locker on craigslist in laramie for $850...which pretty sure is the regular price.

I sent an email telling him ECGS offered me that price with a free compressor. Then ask how low he would sell it for . I don't really want it though.
