It's not really a large round when you think about it. Subsonic 300 BLK is a 220 gr bullet going 1000 fps. That's basically a 45 ACP. It's about as loud as a 45 ACP would be suppressed. Supersonic, it's loud, but not as loud or as annoying as 223 out of a short barreled gun. I have an 11" 223 upper that is really annoying to me, but an 8" 300 BLK suppressed is no problem with 110/125 gr supersonic loads going 2100 fps or so. At that point you're talking close to AK ballistics in a handy package, but it's not very quiet at that point. Still fun.

I realized their quality on coating sucks. The lower has a textured finish while the upper is smooth. Oh well it's gonna get re coated burnt bronze when I have more funds.

Ah nice. I might build one soon idk, ammo price still sucks and it's scarce in the north east.

That sucks haha. Usually if I get anything bad I just make it hard use. I toss all my guns around. I hate safe queens unless it's something super rare. Even my noveske stuff has it's amount of wear

My other rifle gets abused. It's scratched, gouged, dirty, been dropped on the acog, pretty much abused. I wanted to keep this one nice for a bit. I tend to break/damage things. Lol

Shit happens, I torqued all my stuff properly so I know it won't come apart, if it loosens I keep tools on me. When I get to the range I usually toss my rifle onto the bench lmao

I backed out of my 300 BLK upper acquisition. Midway had them for $399 with an expected date of a week later. Placed the order and the date went to sometime in June. Can't keep those funds tied up that long, didn't really need it as I do have an AK with 4K rounds stashed so I remain concentrated on my 458 Socom. Got (300) 325 grain FTX bullets now and (100) new Starline cases on back order from Midway. Those new cases will give me a loaded round count of (450) 458 Socom rounds. In the AR world (450) doesn't sound like a lot of ammo but consider they cost an average of about $2.75 each retail, that's over $1200 worth of ammo. Weight wise it is equivalent to (2700) rounds of 5.56mm.

I need to figure out a way to transport my stuff in the bed while it's raining on long distance drives. I looked at undercover tonneau but I wanna keep the rails free in the bed, but I also want this cover to be removable so the undercover fits but it takes up sections of the accessory rails where I plan on keeping a hi lift and stuff. A cb antenna eventually. This is gonna be hard if I'm traveling with more than one other person and I usually take at lest 4 rifles if I'm going anywhere lmao.

Also helps to keeps people from seeing those "scary things"

    I have this case:
    http://www.amazon.com/Large-Soft-Ca...8&qid=1395789522&sr=1-1&keywords=3+rifle+case

I've transported 3 rifles in it through snow storms, rain storms, and dust storms, and the rifles were fine.

Besides if your rifles can't withstand being wet or dirty, then you sir, have girly guns.

Haha I know it's just easier, I care less about wet, more about people seeing. Pelican cases are much expense. Also I need to figure out a way to tie them down. Possibly some sort of cargo divider? I live in New York. Sooo that should be enough reason to keep them out of sight. If it were up to me I'd just make a rack of quick fists and throw it in the bed.

I'd find a hinged bin, long enough for your rifles and mount Quikfists inside to hold your guns and ammo could fit also.
