Looks so awesome! I need to get that bumper now. My wife is going to be soooo mad since I just dropped a grand on cam tabs, spindle gussets and Icon 700# coils. I'm doing the Icon bumps in a couple weeks, so I think after that I'm going to look at placing the order for the bumper. I'm undecided about cut out for light bar or going the same route as you.

I thought about the light bar too. But I knew the light output/range of the LF 170s would be better than the bar and they're cheaper... I flippn love the 170's, spent an hour or so on the road in the dark coming over south pass here in wy last week and was blown away by how far and well they lit the road up, flipping my brights on hardly made any difference with the 170's on. I also like the plain front plate better w/o the cutout, personal taste. I like the extra room i get by not having a light bar in there too.

I'm kinda feeling the same way, the bumper looks so clean without the cut out for the lightbar, however having extra hidden light isn't bad either. Are your 170's HID or halogen? I love the Light force products, they are practically indestructible and I like how you can manually adjust the beam pattern like a maglite. I hate how indecisive I am, when I was a kid I wouldn't weigh the pros and cons and weight and this and that, I would just buy it and be happy with my decisions. At least I've decided to go with Tyler's bumper hahaha. What rear bumper do you have, is it a CBI?

My 170's are plain halogen. I'll try to get out and get some light shots tonight. I picked up the 170's on Amazon for like 260 i think about two months ago with a harness (looks like the price went up a bit... http://www.amazon.com/Lightforce-St...qid=1396194275&sr=8-2&keywords=lightforce+170).

haha i'm indecisive at times too. Yea at least you picked the right bumper

my rear bumper is a CBI Bushmaster 2.0. It's been on the truck for a bit over a year and it's been awesome. I went with the CBI because I like how it's not super high clearance. It's still been plenty of clearance while out wheeling and when I ran out of clearance it didn't matter cuz its steel and I just drug it, no bigs.

Hey Marc did you upgrade to 700# coils? just wondering how the weight is affecting the preload on your coil overs?

Yes, i have 700 # coils. I've got about 4 threads showing on the driver side and 1 showing on passenger. I dropped about a half inch with the bumper and winch addition, not bad. Rides pretty plush now too. I'm gonna leave the preload where it is I think, maybe add just a hair.

Spent about 30 min making this knob yesterday. Cut off the bottom of a leg post, sanded it a bit and then threaded in an insert so it could thread onto the shifter stick. Less gear noise with the wood on the end of the stick

Also some shots from out and about this week.
