Really extreme HDR's are very tough to pull off and require the right photo with lots of skill and knowledge for it to work. Stick to a more subtle HDR look and you'll get better results. If you're using the in camera editing then you can usually turn down the severity.

    corrected.

this photo is also overcooked, as you can see the ghosting around the edges of the trees. overcooked = too much adjustment in post

Does any know how to check shutter actuation on a DSLR? I have a Canon Rebel XS(1000D) and am trying to find my shutter count. I did a google search, which took me to POTN, and found a link to eoscount.com and I didn't know how to use it. It added on all these toolbar for me, even after declining to install them.

    Thanks :)

Just upload a recent jpeg image and away you go. I know nikon has a nikon specific page, not sure if canon does or not. But give camerashuttercount a try.

Thanks! I actually tried that site before posting on here, it says my file does not work. I've tried RAW and JPEG, nada! Then I found this one: http://www.shutteractuations.com/?did=1 says my file does not have a count. My file is at 2773 but I know I've deleted many post counts before making it continuous.

    Oh well, thanks again!

Oh lawdy! Had to pay $1.79 to find out. I'm not sure how accurate that thing is as there is a 3,000+ gap on shutter counts lol and I doubt I took that much the first year I had it before using continuous on my file numbers. Bought it back in September of 2010.

T-Force Edition, and thats all the wife is letting me do...

I found these adapters made by a Canadian Engineer that dont use that 1.25X- 1.4X cheapo glass. Most state the ability to focus to infinity is excellent with only the shorter focal lengths being difficult for FF due to the mirror making contact with the lens. Most shoot Live view in that case.

The FL I got was 55mm 1.2 for $308 delivered from Japan. Ill post up some shots when it gets in and its been converted

Here is that link to those adapters- look down the page to see all the ones he makes now

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/181352219773?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Im mainly using this for still work on a tripod. Ive seen a lot of photos with these lenses (55mm 1.2) and the bokeh is creamy smooth- cant wait

Thats what I always say. The fact that the most influential new shots never follow the rules tells me they should be broken. Its art.

    Thanks by the way.

That was a hord of ducks all trying to get my sandwich.... LOL I snapped her since she was sitting so still
