I'm currently deployed right now, I have plans of building my truck up a bit more before I commit to going on this trip. So far I have a 3in lift with 33in tires, rock sliders, and in the process of getting a bed rack just waiting for it to get finished then just have to pay for shipping.

My list of future mods will be an ARB deluxe bumper with a warn winch, a wrap around rear bumper, an ARB rear locker with either the regular compressor or the twin compressor and a roof top tent.

I wont be back in the US until late in the year, so I have time to buy these items and have them installed. Ill be located in Washington state and would like to take her on a pretty awesome trip to remote locations where 4x4 is needed and not many people go. If a group event happens that would be something I wouldnt mind at all.

Im thinking MOAB next year but if you guys have any ideas on places from the midwest to the west im open for all suggestions. Also if you guys can think of any more modifications that would be needed please let me know.

    Thanks

Make sure you have an assortment of spare parts just incase. Also a hi lift and some recovery gear would be useful

If you are getting the ARB compressor, go ahead and spring for the twin. You will be happy you did in the long run that way you have more capabilities with it. Also, good to have the ability to run air tools on the trail just in case.

fully armored, 4.88, 33 skinnies, tundra brakes, a REAL cold air intake.
Get superwinch not a warn, they are made in the USA, not just assembled. I have read a couple bad things about warn lately
Warning: this is a statement of fact based on research, do not be offended.

    BTW military discount from superwinch!

Idaho, Montana, might as well come on down to Colorado as well! Over to Moab then back up north, sounds like a great trip for a lot of us to tag along where possible!

I plan on taking 30 days vacation so these states are ones I did have in mind to go through and was also thinking of hitting up national parks as that is something I enjoy doing.

Yea the more people who can attend the better, especially in these areas that I don't know the trails at all.
