You can get a pretty good deal on a new 09. Look for one that's what you want and been traded between dealers, if it has over 50 miles on the ODO then its been around and someone's looking to get rid of it sooner than later. The more miles, the cheaper it'll be for you.
Usually used Tacos are a little more expensive than new ones for some weird reason. I'd suggest you try and negotiate on a new one before you go finding a used one though.

Realistically you shouldn't throw in wads of cash right away. If you want then you can do stereo, wait a little while, do your lift and tires, wait a bit, and do more...

Lol ya that would suck. Turns out trying to climb out of a rut I couldn't make it up, stalling and being about a tenth of a second late on the E brake to keep me from rolling back into a tree screwed my tailgate. Luckily due to the steep grade it only hit the tailgate, not the bumper. Oh well I have to load up a ton of funiture next week to move into the apartment so hopefully enough weight gets put on it that it bends. If not I can live with my mistake

Ya I was going to order a new 08 since the price difference was about 1-2K different between them and used '07s. Plus it was the week the '09's came out. Found mine on the auxiliary lot and they really wanted to move it so they came off the price 5k:eek:

yah. and with our economy is down i think the dealers would give you a deal. or downgrade the car.

Surprisingly they aren't as easy to negotiate since they think someone is going to come in with a clunker tomorrow and buy that car at a higher price than you want to pay. Nonetheless, they still give good prices just not as good as if the CARS program wasn't there.
Nice! That's kinda hard to get around here since the damn dealers trade so friggin much that there is a 99% chance you will never find that kind of deal.

Call your dealer, cal your dealer, CALL YOUR DEALER! Everyday, I know mine is running a $750 incentive or a 3.9%APR for leasing on Tacomas.
Or when you call ask them when their next big incentive will be. Just ask a lot of questions and get a lot of answers.
