Make sure thats a real jerry can and not a chinese knockoff. The inside should be painted with no exposed steel.

I have one of those propane tanks and love it. It doesn't cost much to refill and lasts quite a long time. I used it for frying a turkey and it didn't even use half of the tank. Do you have the adapter hose?

After installing the awning I realized how easy it is to remove by just unbolting it. Has anyone secured their awning in any way to prevent it being easily removed by someone other than yourself?

If that is an 11 pounder and pretty sure it is they fit perfectly into 4 gal. food grade buckets for storage and transportation.

I drilled holes in the bottom of the bucket to allow water to drain out. The bucket handle snaps perfectly into the carry lip on the tank and holds it in place. The buckets with lids are also good for carrying dog food and other items plus stack and store well. I get mine here although I have seen salt melt and cat liter sold in them too.

Most places I have had it filled charge by weight which is standard. Twice however while out in the middle of no where they have charged me a flat rate price and it has been for the standard 20 pound tanks. When the nearest other propane dealer is 100 miles away not much sense in arguing. Love that tank size, nice pickup.
