Err... pretty sure Mark said it already haha :p
I would if they weren't so damned expensive. Those old school MTRs in the CL ad are a STEAL.

I'll probably remove the cab one last time to double check all my welds, maybe add some more gussets. But the fitment is great! I'm also much happier with the mounting and location of the drivetrain. Gotta go to work soon, but I got the weekend off and I'll try to finish the motor mounts and put the cab on permanently. Then off to Wyoming and Colorado for the week!! :goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy::goingcrazy:

wow, that is close. Can you make an access hole somewhere in case the plug needs attention?

I'd just tub that part of the fire wall so you can get access to it. That and if you ever have to take the head off while the engine is still in the truck. Late model dodges with the 5.9 Cummins have to holes in the area below the windshield just for that reason.

    This.

Would it be possible to cut out a stretched upside down U shape in the cab to make it easier to get to the engine and then reinforce the cab with some plate?

Just thinking out loud. Love the build, hope to do something similar one day.

I'm trying my best to keep the cowling area unmolested since I'm hoping to use the area for the turbo's air intake. Plumbing for the intake may prove too diffcult and if comes to that, I'll mount the air filter directly to the turbo housing. Gonna wait until I get the turbo and manifold worked out before tackle that I guess.

Can't be any worse than running an UMP that takes up half of the engine bay. [IMG]

Say the stupid in cab snorkel bullshit thing doesn't work out, would simply running a filter (and pre filter) directly off the turbo be good to go? Not sure how well it would hold up to water/dirt/(heat?)/etc.

Take this POS to a dealership and ask them if they can fix it under warranty.
