With that much trouble, a sac would be a better choice

    Too many yotas to list...
Off the top of my head, you'll need to either clearance your oil pan or get one that's already modified, t-case crossmember, driveshaft, shock hoops, 86-88 steering gearbox and fab your own mounting plates, however you wanna do steering, shackle mounts, and many other odds and ends (done quite a few SAS swaps on mine and friends PU's and tacos, and have gotten it down to about a 12-hour affair).

I'd say if you don't have everything you need or a strong ability to fab your own, just pick up a complete SAS kit (I've used this trail-gear kit a couple times. Zero complaints). Makes life easy-peasy.

I dont want to be the guy that says search, because I ask my fair share on the topic as well, but there are so many variables here to just say "this is a good kit"

how much are you planning to spend. do you want links or leafs, how much shit do you plan to build on your own

Im glad this came up because i plan on doing this in about a year or so. IMO from what I've researched already i will not be buying any pre made SAS kits. I will be buying pieces from different places. (mostly ruff stuff probably.) I would like to Link the front though and not use leafs. Probably going to link the back as well while I'm at it.

    Why?
All he should need is a trans and T case that are for his motor.

I just completed a sas using Trailgear's sas kit on my 01 Prerunner doublecab. Running a toy axle with a gear driven xcase using the stock tranny mated with the inchworm prerunner adapter.
