    Guys,

I'm researching the towing package for 2nd Gen Tacos as my 05 Prerunner was not optioned with it.

I've read threads stating that the "Pink" fan clutch indicates a towing package installed on the taco. My Taco has the Pink fan clutch and there is a smaller radiator that sits in front of the main radiator. Is this the tranny cooler?!

There are members with the factory towing package that have the pink fan clutch and there are guys like me who do not have the towing package with the same pink fan clutch.

What does the OEM tranny cooler look like?! Guys with the factory towing package can you show me your tranny cooler?

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,
    Ryan

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
If it has two lines that run back to the tranny then it is the cooler.

Also, look underneath your oil filter (on 4.0L)...
If you see something similar to this (supplemental engine oil cooler)

Then, yes...you have the towing package.

the trans cooler is behind the grill underneath the horns. its the small black cooler. If you have the tow package you have both of them, but you only get the trans cooler if you have an automatic.

I wish I could find that engine oil cooler, or its equivalent, for less than Toyota OEM prices.
