It's looking like my leaf springs are pretty much shot. They are pretty much straightened with the bed empty. Can anyone tell me roughly how much they cost to repair or replace on an 09?

    Thank you guys!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Any decent truck spring shop can re-arch and add a leaf for around $350. I'd install new shocks at the same time.

If you're bro-leaning, could always get a progressive leak pack to add to your existing pack. Might get you back to level if not, 1" higher.

Go aftermarket. Dakar's will run you around $500-550 just for the springs shipped. You will probably want new shocks as well.

Look at toytec, or wheelers off road. They will give you a better idea.

Mine were shot as well on an 06' so I went with a full kit from OME. That would be my advise. The ride is great, but you will end up dropping about $1500 total.

If your springs are really shot like mine were, an add a leaf will do you no good.

Either Frankenstein one like old man Dave or go with the Dakar's, Expos or if you have the money Alcans.

Thanks for the input guys! Im not the mechanically savvy so I need to have this done in a shop somewhere. I don't need anything too hardcore for my daily driver. I am not bro leaning yet but I know the stock ones notoriously suck. I am just looking to keep the cost as reasonable as possible. I need some work on a front end rattle too. This is gonna suck...

I've used Palmer springs in portland a few times over the past 35 years.
    Always rear springs.
Added a leaf or two and all was good.. They added main leafs. Not just adding a leaf. Not sure of pricing now. Been a while...

Replacing the rear leafs and shocks is not as hard as you would think. If you can use a jack, jack stands and a wrench, it is easy.

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
On a budget. I get that... Buy some lightly used stock rear springs and shocks for cheap right here on TW. A lot of folks do suspension upgrades pretty quickly after buying their truck, and have no use for the perfectly good stock parts.

Put an ad up on the parts marketplace thread letting everyone know what you are looking for. Amd do your homework and know what years range will fot your 09.

Pretty solid advice. There are some really good after market springs out there but most will lift your truck and it doesn't seem you want to go that route. Dakars are AWESOME but they provide a lot of lift so I wouldn't suggest those for you. I'm guessing there are some folks local to you willing to sell their stock leafs cheap. They really are easy to change as well if you're feeling up for a slight challenge.

Does anyone have a recommendation for what OP should do with his sagging/flat leafs once he replaces? I have the same issue and I am about to do just what mountainwolfpup said and slap on some used ones. But don't know what to do with old ones.
