Some time tomorrow a Tundra and a Sequoia are going to get together and conceive a baby Tacoma. Hopefully all will go well and a '14 TRD Sport 4X4 DCSB Metallic Grey Magnetic Tacoma will be born with all it's tires and windows. To say I'm excited is an understatement. I've been on this site for weeks figuring out how to mod this baby up. Does anybody have an idea how long before the stork drops it off at my local dealer. (Chicagoland) I have another car that I am hoping to sell right before I take delivery and I'm not interested in trading it in. They offered basically nothing for the trade.

You guys are a wealth of knowledge and have filled my head with all sorts of information and I plan on learning for years to come. I thank you already and will for years to come.

I ordered mine just over a month ago. Build date was May 5th. Got word from the dealer last week that it was at the rail head in Kansas City. He emailed yesterday morning that it was now in McCook, Nebraska and should be here (Denver) by the weekend.

If you're interested, here's a map of the route your Tacoma will take along the BNSF rail from the San Antonio plant to Chicago: http://www.bnsf.com/customers/pdf/maps/auto_large_map.pdf

So, short answer, order to deliver for me will be right around 5 weeks. Build to deliver will be just shy of a month.

I'll post pics when I pick it up this weekend!

I'm hoping it doesn't take another 4 weeks. Ugh. Thanks for the map though.

Oh man, reminds me when my dealer had to pick a truck off the assembly line for me, and they told me 2-3 weeks and it ended up being 6 weeks!! So much anxiety. But more than worth it to get the Tacoma you want, and not settling for a different color or set of options or whatever. Tbh, it gave me a little extra time to save a little bit more for a down payment.

It's definitely a lot of anticipation. But makes it that much sweeter when you get to drive it off the lot. Cheers, man! You're gonna love it!

Yes.. the anticipation is killing me... I have a list of Mods that I want to do... but don't want to order or purchase anything until the truck is in my driveway... Never know what can happen between now and delivery day!!!
