AWESOME! I was unaware that there was cheaper ones out there. I thought 600 was relatively cheap. guess I should do more research....
But one more thing. So do these halo kits actually function as good headlights? as in can you actually see at night or are they just a "cool factor" type of light?
    Thanks again

They're terrible quality and output. Retrofit your stock lights like everyone is saying!

Had the first ones listed and they weren't all crazy bad like people are making out. The lows were brighter than oem with an H7 Philips Xtremevision halogen bulb and brights were better too. Mine did not leak. Of course I did not pay any stupid $600 for them either, more like $200 shipped. They held up fine for several years then the LEDs on one side started having short in them and was tired of LED and halo shit so just went back to BHLM oems. You can get the 2nd kind linked and they will be better than the first ones since they are HID but still with the blingy LED stuff everywhere and still not as good as retrofitting good projectors. Past a certain point, they are all just lights and it's a personal choice....my personal choice was to leave mandatory lighting Philips H4 Xtremevision halogen and HID up my optional lighting - fogs and Hella 500s. Better result than any of the other combos I've tried. Haven't committed to $600 retros and the LED H4s didn't do it for me either.

The coating on these will come off easily, then you'll have disgusting oxidized lights. I've blasted the coating off with a pressure washer before.

    Go to theretrofitsource.com and hidplanet.com

Andrew at the retrofit source is great and takes his time answering questions. Hidplanet is a forum that has a lot of info that will basically walk you through the retrofit process. It's not overly difficult, just take your time. You have to heat the housings in an oven say 250° for about 5-10 minutes to pry apart the housing. Once you get the lens off, it's a matter of mounting the projector and covering it with the shroud. Then you have to seal it back up typically by reheating in the oven. Mouting the projector will vary depending on the type you are using. You also have to align the projector (up/down, side/side as well as twist) before sealing it all up.

I did a retrofit on my former (nontoyota) truck and the light output was great. I actually started with ebay lights similar to those posted above and the light output was horrible.

If you've never driven a vehicle with hids, keep in mind that there is a cut off of where the light doesn't shine above. Aftermarket retrofit kits tend to have sharper cut offs versus OEM. My last truck was a full size 3/4 ton and the lights were fairly high off the ground. With them properly adjusted, I would not illuminate stop or street signs and the cut off moves around as you go over bumps and dips. There is a dip near my house that the light cutoff would almost drop off to just in front of the truck with pitch black darkness beyond. That being said if I were to do it again, I'd only consider an OEM prejector lens so that there is some light 'bleed' above the cut off.
