In a couple weeks I will have had my truck a year. This morning I did a little impromptu wheeling and on the way home I seen I was about to hit 5,000 miles so when it rolled over I snapped a pic and noticed the Maint Reqd light was on. Is it normal for it to come on at 5,000 miles and how do I get rid of it if so?

It's normal, just a reminder to do the regular maintenance (oil change, lube etc.). You can turn it off yourself, I can't remember how off the top of my head. I'm sure someone will chime in that remembers.

Change your oil and then do this.

    1) Turn key to ACC
    2) Press ODO button until you see your total mileage
    3) Press in button and hold in
    4) While holding button, Turn key to on
    5) You will see the ODO go ----- and essentially count down
    6) When you see the ODO showing 000000 you are all done!

It worked, but I had to use the Trip A(2012+) instead of ODO.

Oh. I guess I've never even been in a 2012+ so I assumed it was all the same. You got it worked out anyway
