Trails near Zion?

    I'm going up to Zion this weekend and would love to hit a trail or two while i'm up there. Any good one's y'all would recommend? I do have 4x4 but won't have any other trucks with me so nothing to crazy, just wanna see some good scenery.

    If you're into mining history, take 56 west to Modena Canyon Rd and go north toward Rice mtn. Good historic mining but also current so some side roads are marked private. From there head east and you can get back to Lund highway to get back to Ceder city. Last time I drove it (~ a year ago) the roads were good, few areas where 4 wheel may be helpful.

    Hope that helps, kind of the opposite direction from Zion but less people to deal with.
