On a second note thank goodness i do have good neighbors as i just talked to my wife and they delivered it to the neighbors house. Dump ass ups driver. He must be new as the normal guy has been good about this.lol

 

Any luck on a cover?

 

We can get covers, I didn't even think about offering them, they could have shipped with the winch.

I think what we should do for the cheapest option is to get a list of people who want covers, I'll order them and ship them here to me, then USPS flat rate them back out.
I also should have offered the wireless remotes, all in hindsite now.

Hahaha i beat the UPS driver home today and recieved mine! Thank you again, Evan and Chris for putting this Group buy on.

 

FWIW inside the solenoid box has a place to hold the controller for a wireless setup. Also you still retain the use of the regular cord.

Looks good. Mine will be installed this week end. I went over it last night and half the allen key bolts on the end cap of the gear box were loose. Just a heads up for everyone else.

Got it, and got mounted on my brute force bumper, and got the fairlead powder coated

 

can the ends be bought to make a cable I can mount to the bumper?

 

Has anyone installed this on an 05 and up ARB bumper?

 

I went over mine as well before the install and the only thing loose was the nuts on the coils inside the control box, being an electrician i was very concerned that all the connections were loose when i say loose i mean not even finger tight . This will cause it to fail or damage it self on your first use. Please open it up and check all connections and tighten every thing up. Also a good idea to seal it up with some sealant like silicone. And some anti corrosion on the exposed connections.

 

One man install method \/ and my shoulder is pissed!





Havent wired it up yet. Just extended the box wiring to locate it in the engine bay.



Just realized I think I have the yellow and black boots backwards too. anyone confirm?
