Complaining about a safety feature no matter how annoying it may be is just puzzling to me... Its like the dummy light for your tire pressure... While mine is always on and is no longer accurate it is there for safety so you're low/high tire pressure doesn't kill you going down the highway when your tire blows out from a bump

Does anyone know of a good deal (sub $75) on a decent 12v air compressor. I don't need it for air tools but would like to mount it for OBA eventually.

deer may not hear it but i can and it’s annoying as fuck!

also... thats so cute you such a pansy you have to hunt over bait and try and draw them in with food so you can shoot them. Not hunting IMHO it’s also illegal in TN. other ways to draw the deer in close.
I don’t see it as a safety feature at all!! they had seat belts way before they started putting those damn reminders in cars and trucks. Also if you are smart you watch and check tire pressure at least once a month so all stay the same or at least the 2 front the same and both rear the same. Also that light dose not come on right away when a tire is low it can take miles for it to come on. i had my spare off and went about 30 miles before the light came on.(my spare tire has a tpms in it) so i don’t really see that as much of a safety feature either. Also i don’t think it goes off if the pressure in the tire is dangerously high. Also the light it self is NOT I MEAN NOT going to stop you from having a blow out going down the road. IT MAAAYYYYYYY slightly help lower the risk of it happening thats if it’s working correctly and the person notices it and stops. Just because you have a blow out dose not mean you are going to die either. i have seen 18 wheelers blow out a front steering tire and not lose control.

So i take it the light telling me my head lights(low beams) are on or not is also a safety feature?

What if I don't want to listen to the F'ing beeping?
It's a great feature for old people like my grandpa who forget, but then you have the other end of the spectrum, my other grandpa, the beeping would remind him to NOT wear the seatbelt.

Yes it is... They need to be on legally (in NJ atleast) any time there is rain or fog... So if they aren't on the light doesn't go on... Same with blinkers... If the bulb is out on the right the blinker goes off rapidly to let you know so you can use hand signals til you get a new bulb...

... Now you think HE is smart enough to do that?

Also the mention about the dog thing Zach...

My dog has a seat belt harness... Stops the chime so the dog doesn't set off the chime... Gotta keep the pup safe from other drivers as well...

Yeah real quiet... While every pic was beer snap and beavis telling people to drink or GTFO... maybe you should leave so you don't have to see me post.

The excuses for wanting the chime off are f*cking BS... Chime is there because half the idiots who drive today don't wear their seatbelt... So they put in that annoying noise so you wear it...

I mean why wear your seatbelt it only SAVES YOUR LIFE...

But if youre talking about the passenger seat then there are plenty of ways around it...

If the package is more than 30 pounds put it on the floor or back seat or in the bed if its a nice day...

If youre dog is setting off the chime then get him/her a car harness since it is now a LAW atleast in NJ that your pet has to be strapped in or in a crate in your vehicle...

Sometimes the derpy ones have more common sense... :goingcrazy:
