Yeah I'd like to stay in CO. I'm actually looking into having my resume get redone by a professional service so right now it's kind of meh haha. So if you find anything you can send it my way and if I get the resume revamped I'll send it to you. Thanks

    haha see you get it.

    I found a really cool job...but it requires a class A CDL.

Just applied for another job this morning and have a bunch of gov jobs waiting for review.

I just got done working six hours in the heat and sun.
The feels like temp is 99 degrees with a shit load of humidity. I don't live within 3hours of a "beach" that isn't on a man made lake. :(
But you have fun, lay some pipe for me bro!

Now i get to work my other job until dark :( #crymybroketiredsweatydisgustingeyesout

    Just harassing you.
I've done everything from farm work to working in a doctor's office to frame-to-finish building construction to writing service in an automotive shop. And now I work for a wholesale tire company. So I understand about having broad interests.

Christ, I WISH I was at the beach today. I'm the one who's working 10 hours today while the hibachi sits forlornly in the shed. :(

Nope. I haven't used a resume since I was 19. Pretty much every other job I've had I got headhunted for. Somebody told so-and-so that I was good at something and they asked if I wanted the job. :notsure:
Honestly, if I had to write a resume at this point I probably would have to use one of those "resumes for dummies" websites online, haha!

Mine isn't very good because I've just been a student for the past 4 years lol.

I'm watching this show called "I'm Getting Married and...", it's interesting. First one wasn't bad. It was "I'm Getting Married and I'm Rich/Poor" and now this one is about an arranged marriage and a mail order bride marriage. The mail order bride guy had two failed marriages and kept saying things like "America raises women to think they don't need a man to get by and train them to be independent, and that's just wrong. So I found a woman outside America" wow. Interestingly enough, he's from the same town as my ex. Must be something in the water there

I'm only an hour from the ocean, and when I wheeled the motorcycle out of the garage this morning the hibachi caught my eye. Stupid me went to work instead of calling out sick
Been thinking about the beach all day. :annoyed:

Whelp...The last job I actually applied for was at a Chiropractor's office. That was in 2004.
Since then I've worked for a building contractor (built houses during the summer and plowed snow during the winter), three different automotive repair shops as a service writer, and for the last three years I've been working for a wholesale tire company. Plus I still do some light handyman work on the side and I've flipped a couple of houses too. Haven't needed a resume for any of them, so I'm sure I'd be stoopid if I tried to make one now.

Yeah, a small one. The one I've got tucks nicely into the saddlebags on my bike.

I too do odd jobs and plow snow. Isn't physical labor the best! (Sarcasm) :(

Nice!! Sounds like a good time.

    HA!
Honestly, during the summer I REALLY miss working building construction. Got a nice tan, good muscle tone, got to work with my hands, and I got to start work at 6AM and get out at 3 in the afternoon. And on the really nice days, the boss used to say "F*ck this, it's too nice out today to keep working. Let's pack up and go fishing!"
I sit at a desk all day now, and I get a little stir crazy.
I miss plowing snow sometimes, but I don't miss the 48-hour storms.
