    easy and cheap mod- http://www.amazon.com/Sports-Import...d=1404482869&sr=8-7&keywords=car+seat+heaters

one of my favorite and most used things I've done to my truck. especially when my back hurts.

    ^

    truth!

In the city it isn't that bad, but lots of roads going into and around the city are horrible. near the george washington bridge there were pot holes large enough to worry me in my truck last winter.

    and easy to parallel park!

I've never seen colled seats. My current company car has heated seats and that coupled with the remote start is great in the winter.

Yea, I was just looking at them on the site. The interiors are sharp. May be an issue in NYC with the parking garages though. There's a few that I almost knock my mirrors off now.

Yea, it gets crazy. My first job in his, there were 7 of us out of 23 employees. The good thing was that if you upset a customer and they asked your name, you just said Mike. At my current company, I am the only Mike and we have 48 employees. Ironically, my name is really James. However, there are also 8 other James in my extended family so I was elected to go by my middle name.

I know. Love that car. Black with black leather interior. I almost bought it in 2004 and at the last minute, went with the Grand Am because of price. Still kick myself to this day. But, as Dyob says, those low pro tires would pop in a heartbeat in NYC.

My office is in NJ, but 90% of our work is in NYC, so I spend on average three days a week driving around the city.

4x4 is definitely a must. Every time is snowed this winter, I was out in Brooklyn or Long Islamd. The SRX I have now is front wheel drive and I was all over the road. Have also had a few close calls getting stuck in mud on sites.

They are toying with another lease vs. buying it. They typically lease, but I am already at 76k on this and we are only at month 33. It's going to cost a few bucks when this one goes back for sure.

Lol, truth. I have become really spoiled with the backup camera. Before I got this car, I had a Dodge Ram with full cap and no rear window. Used to constantly be getting out to look so I didn't crunch a car.

I wanted to start cutting out my shackle rivets today because it's so cool out. Now I'm bored out of my mind until I head to a BBQ tonight.

If any of you guys want some great rubber for isolating parts (stop rust & rattles) hit me up. I got some great stuff from work. We use it in our clamping door rails so the glass isn't touching the metal. It's got a very low compression rate that will never change once torqued down and has been used for almost 15 years with no failures to date. Ive had it on my tire gate for years where it latches to stop it from rattling and rubbing the paint off.

Intended use (I got flat pieces instead of U shaped):

No way I'm mounting my newly powder coated bumper steel to steel so it rusts out at all the bolts.

Thanks! I am very fortunate. This is an awesome company and they treat the employees excellent. They just gave us all bonuses this week because there was some extra money over and above their normal cushion. That's why I always post when we have openings.

That could be a long time LOL. Just remind me. Ill throw a couple 4' lengths aside.

I could, but I don't feel like playing in the mud to do it. Working on grass with wet ground sucks. I need a huge 4 car garage with a small loft on top to live in on some land next to a river. I bough backasswards...fucking 4 bedroom house in burbs w/no garage :goingcrazy:

My current house is shitty and too big in a hood I don't much like any longer. I want something like this:

Minimum of 2 cars wide x at least 2-1/2 cars deep. Instead of a window above the doors throw a slider and put a nice sized deck on top that would act as a carport as well.

I wouldn't mind moving south a little to get out of suburbia. Near my work there is a ton of farmland with rivers all over. I'm so over all the kids playing in the court 24/7/365 and having neighbors so close. If I hear one more basketball bounce at night my heads going to explode :D

Wednesday night I got woken up at 2am to my neighbor jack hammering. I sat up for 30 minutes just looking across the court in amazement.

someones been doing some designing :) I like it.

Add a front deck/carport over all the garage doors, open up the floor plan up in the living area a little (I like the studio feel for small spaces), slap it next to a river and I'm all set.

I really want a raised deck to overlook the woods and put me in the trees and it might as well double as a car port to save money for those things you do not want to do indoors.
