Now with 65 members who are ready for a logo, I think it's time to engineer a DIY logo for heatshields!

What do you mean? I am talking about us putting our heads together and making our OWN logo to put on heatshields. I already have a heatshield. I already know the GB is off if that is what you meant.

He didn't flop! HeatShield flopped! Gosh, have you ever tried buying/selling with someone who constantly changes stipulations and other things instead of just making the trade? That's what this seemed like...

What are you talking about? I knew you were joking. I was just picking on HeatShield. Lol. As for that last part I was just venting about when this stuff happens :notsure:

Why did you think I was getting onto you? :(

I agree heatsheild tried to take the easy route on this one and thats why i will not be purchasing from them. I told Cody this was absolutely not worth the effort if the company didn't want to do the work.

It's so darn easy to misread somebody on the internet.

I agree too, but honestly the heatshield is the best product you can buy to block the sun. And I hate to say it now that the company has shown this amount of effort for Tacoma world. This could have reached 100! That's a $3,000 purchase!

However, there is a point where if you feel strongly about something, your morals should outweigh the desire to use the product/save the money.

Or at least that's what I use to convince myself not to cheat my clock-in hours at work :anonymous:

Are you sure? I got front and sides for 70+shipping... Was like 84 after tax and shipping, but I had a 10% code for the month of May, so it was 77.

I also would not recommend getting the windshield and not the sides. The sides get you a $10 discount AND complete the purpose in my eyes of the heatshield and that is letting in minimal light. The front, to me, by itself cannot do the job much better than a cheapo. If anything, just order the sides.

I don't mean to slam your links, I'm just sharing my experience so you guys can have the best.

Valid points Devin, didn't think about the sides...FYI, Just did a price comparison Direct (windshield and sides) - 86.59 shipped OR (windshield only) - 53.92 shipped. Quoted at CA tax rate and shipping. ----- Amazon (windshield and sides - 2nd Gen only) 79.85 shipped OR (windshield only) -43.84 shipped.

Thanks. And again, in my honest opinion you are not getting your moneys worth unless you get front and sides. I won't be bothered if you guys disagree, but am I getting my point across? About the utility of one cheap shade vs one heatshield vs all heatshields?
