my new 2010 tacoma

Why change the cupholder? what's better about the 2010 setup. I assume that insert would fit the older models but I like mine better...it's adjustable.

 

I like the look of the holders. Obviously they didnt really change the actual cup holders, just swapped the actual holders (as though the rest of us could purchase those two pieces and pop them in our old Tacomas.)

 

I don't understand this either. I looked at them and they are easily a step backwards. Not adjustable, not big enough for a big drink from hardees, and pretty cheap looking in person. I'm guessing they had some kinda manufacturing or patent issue...

 

Yeah, I like the looks of the 05-09 better.

Is it just me, or on that 2010 the stub antenna on the roof - I think it's the XM antenna - it looks different.

 

Yeah that is the XM antenna, nice that its painted to match, but I dont understand the cupholders, the radio display sucks, dosent scroll info or even change between the artist thats on and song, you can either have the artist or song or station and if the name is to long it just cuts it off. Dont understand why they can put a screen in the rear view mirror but cant change the radio display. Oh but lets redesign the cupholders and not offer nav.

 

How many leafs on the rear springs? 3 or 4? mmmm Thats a sharp color!
