Forgive me if there is already a thread on this, I'm new to tacoma world, but how many miles does your 4 cylinder have and how may do you expect. Is it a 5 speed or and auto. All that good stuff. I have a 05 5 speed with 188xxx. Hoping to drive this truck for a very long time and put 500xxx on it. Anybody close to that?

My 07 is just getting broke in at 180,000 . It is a 5 speed, and I plan on using it as a daily work truck till at least 300K,(3 more years) and as long as the frame stays together, I'm never getting rid of it.

My '04 2.7L auto had 230k on it, running perfect when I had to ditch it for gaping holes in the frame. Still was getting great mileage. Best vehicle I ever owned, hope the '13 does as well and now that I know I am cleaning and treating the frame better.

My y2k went kerplunk at 144k miles, spun a rod bearing. 2.7 4cyl auto, still love that truck, because it gave me an opportunity to buy my 4x4. XD

07 at 143k. Gets great mileage, but other than that it drives me crazy with all sorts of weird noises that don't last long enough to diagnose.

Except the tranny, that 5spd whines regardless
