Was wondering who all does some Kayaking here on Tacomaworld. I picked up my first 10ft Kayak awhile back after trying it for the first time. I went out with a friend of mine and when we were loading them in the water an old man asked me if i knew anyone that was looking to buy one. Went and checked it out and bought a 10ft Coleman for $100 off of him. Have to say it was one of the best purchases i've made. I've since customized it with some things here and there (bungees, rod holder, paddle holder). I'm trying to thing of a good idea to help get some higher back support and a better seat. Anyone else love getting out and enjoying their Kayak?

I love kayaking! Haven't been out in a couple years but I've been on a handful of over night trips in the past. There are some good spots over here in Washington state.

I've been meaning to buy the point 65 modular one for storing purposes. I really want to build a fishing kayak. I bought the rack for it about a year ago but, still no kayak.

    enough to go over stuff
The wife and I moved by the water a couple months ago so I bought two 10' kayaks. There is a small delta beach about a mile from my house. we launch the kayaks from there. We have gone every weekend for a while now. I got a cushion for my seat, water proof bags, and a bilige sponge. we take food drinks and music and go out for about 3 hours.

What kind of pad did you get for your seat? I thought about making me one cause about 2-3 hrs after i begin fishing i start getting a little soar in my lower lumbar.
