BFG AT KO Milage Question

I searched but did not find an exact answer to this. Anyone out there running the BFG AT KO's and notice a big difference in gas milage? I plan to get my truck setup with LT265/R7516 BFG AT KO's on the stock 16" TRD rims tomorrow. I currentl have the crap Dunlop Grand Trek's and they suck bad and look small on the truck too. Can anyone tell me if they noticed a significant drop in fuel economy with these tires? Also is anyone having any problems with this tire rubbbing at all? I read in another post that someone with an '01 was having them rub. My truck is an 05. Also, how are these in snow on the Tacoma? I used to have them on my 2wheel drive Ranger and loved them and they seamed pretty decent in the snow.

I put 33" BFG AT KO on my lifted 02 and maybe lost .5-1 mpg....barely noticeable. The 265/75/16 shouldn't rub. They are great in the snow.

Wait for some other opinions on the rubbing issue since I'm not in a 2nd gen truck.

 

They'll be only slightly wider than what you have.

Currently I have the 245/70/16's and they are wimpy. My wifes 4-runner has bigger tires!! I know the Tacoma's came with 265/70/16's as an option so I figure I can get the 75's to fit.

The 265/75/16 are more than 2" bigger in diameter than the 245/70/16, and just under an inch wider. If you have a TRD Taco or a lift you should be fine.

 

I have an '05 4x4 SR5 but its not TRD, should I be concerned it will rub?

I guess I could get 70's and not 75's but I want the 75's and BJ's has them in stock for $182 mounted and balanced and $40 off a set of 4. Plus I get 2% in BJ's rewards.

Dont they sell the SR5 4x4 with 265/70/16?

 

Sorry I'm not familiar with the SR5. As far as I know the TRD's have different suspension and therefore sat higher. Anybody know if this is correct?

 

I don't think they do but I could be wrong. I think they all have the same springs in the back anyhow just different shocks. In the front the spring is part of the shock so they might be different on the TRD.

I parked next to a TRD double cable today at Dicks Sporting goods and I think we were the same height but I was not really checking either.
