I'm not sure...but you may be looking for a mythical combo. Better MPGs and more power aren't really a combo- they are not quite inverse.

You can run a Scanguage- It's not a fuel programmer- but it will give you an idea of what your real time MPGs are. Makes you control your right foot power programmer a little more.
The URD MAF Calibrator has been talked about ad nauseum on here.
The X-1 ECU Controller has it's own thread more or less: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/performance-tuning/16285-question-about-chips.html

Good luck finding something that works for you

If you are looking for the ideal tuning solution for your needs URD can help you with that.

We have several levels of tuning solutions to fit your needs and price points.

We have the entry level URD MAF Sensor Calibrator which is super popular with the XRunner crowd. On my XRunner we got 15 RWHP gain with a 10 minute tune. FYI the unichip on that same truck got 3 RWHP gain with thier plug and play setup.

Next is the MAP-ECU2 system that gives you fuel and timing control, can run two stages of nitrous, on some vehicles it can also eliminate the vehicle speed governor and many other cool features.

The high end solution is the APR X-1 engine controller kit. This is a very nice unit that has features like dynamic active fuel control and engine guardian. This will reset the vehicle speed governor much higher for those of you with the proper speed rated tires, it an also increase the engine rev limit. URD has these systems in stock at a nice discount.

Whatever your tuning needs are, URD is likely to have the ideal solution for you.

Gadget what would you recommend for a 4dr 4x4, 3" lift and 33s, with a drop in air filter? I am interested in low end tq, I know hard to find. Plans for later, muffler maybe DT headers, and one set of cats removed. Its a daily driver just looking to turn it up a notch. Also would there be a sequence for the installs. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone out there have the Map-ECU2? As much as I want the apr 1 it costs to much for me to buy and get it shipped to canada. I am looking at the Map-ECU2 or the URD Maf sensor. Unless you have another idea from URD besides the APR X1
