take pictures or video of the dog attacking your windows. Turn it into animal control.

Smack it around a little when its on your property. Its nicer than shooting it and it will learn to stay away. If you cant catch it just throw rocks at it. Kinda sounds like an asshole dog anyway. It'll learn to stay away.

They exist. But they wont do anything because there is no ordinance regarding cats. If it was dogs, they would catch/remove them but not cats. Had one today walking down my driveway, tossed a pack of black cat firecrackers which landed right behind it and started popping as soon as it hit the ground. So hopefully that cat is gone for a while.

We've had this problem with a neighbor's outside cat. Used cat repellent granules, I think it was made by Bonide, but I'll have to check the jug in my garage when I get home. It worked for us. :notsure:

I had over 20 cats on my property at one time in my life. I first went to a dairy farmer and asked him if he wanted some cats and he said you bet i'll take all you can give me. WHOO! I got a live trap and some beef liver. I tossed a few strips in the trap and caught 5 at a time. They became residents on a dairy farm. All the milk they can drink and all the mice they can eat. good life for stray cats

Assuming you meant me, this isn't how it's been in my area though I've not moved around the country. They'd be picked up here the same day and taken to animal control shelter for adoption/euthanasia.

Good luck clearing up your back yard.

Don't have stray cats in my back yard - Annie doesn't like them.... or squirrels, or rabbits, or moles..... Zoie chases just for fun :)

It's removing of nuisance animals, not shooting things with pellets for entertainment hahahahahahah

You're young enough, hope you realize the difference and prevent yourself future law troubles

WTF is wrong who some people? I get it that not everybody likes animals but who gets a kick off of being cruel to them?

OP I know you said there's no ordinance about cats but I'd check again, both town and state laws and see what you can find. I'd be really surprised if there isn't something written somewhere, if your neighbor got a big fine he'd think twice about letting his cat out.

I've heard Cayenne pepper works for keeping dogs from shitting wherever you put it, guess it works for cats!

Throwing fireworks at them is probably very close to animal cruelty.

Is their cat female thats unfixed? If so thats probably why all the other cats are trying to catch that snatch.

I used to live directly across the street from the neighborhood's "crazy cat lady" and a couple of nights after I brought my 2012 home little paw prints started showing up all over the thing. I baited a live trap with tuna fish and left it in the bed of the truck. Next day I had one of the culprits. I took him around back, left him in the cage and gave him a quick bath with the water hose. When I let him out he set a land-speed record heading back across the street, and I didn't have any paw prints on the truck for at least 6 months. I think he went and told all of his buddies because they all stayed away for a long time.

Repeat offenders would most likely get a ride to our farm to become barn cats.

I think this is the best solution. It's not going to do any actual damage (unless somehow you hit one in the eye or something. Always wear your paintball mask!) to the cats, and requires less money or time spent dealing with them. Hit a few of them a couple times and they won't be coming around again.
