    Hi everyone,

I'm selling my 1996 Tacoma. I'm asking $7,000 OBO. I'm the third owner and I bought it with 131,xxx on it. Feel free to check out my build thread for more pictures. I'm located in Northern California. PM me if you are interested in it, I will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Specs:
    -1996 Tacoma
    -3.4L
    -5 Speed 4x4
    -158,XXX miles
-285/75/r16 BFG mud terrains (good tread left)
    -16" steel wheels

    Mods:
    -4runner bucket seats
    -98-00 fender flares
    -JVC head unit
-New 1600lb clutch from Trail Gear (squeaks but functions properly)
-New CV axles with HD boots
-New upper and lower Moog ball joints
    -Bilstein 5100 shocks
    -Eibach 650lb coils
    -Toytec 1.5" add-a-leaf
    -Total Chaos 1" Diff drop
    -5000K 35w HID projectors
    -6000K 55w HID converted Hella 500s (ballasts don't work)
    -New taillights

    The Good:
For an 18 year old truck, it has pretty low miles. It has been well maintained, I have records of everything I've ever done to it with receipts.

    The Bad:
Obviously, the paint isn't exactly nice. The truck was repainted by the previous owner, and they must have used cheap materials because a few months after I bought it, the clear coat started pealing off rapidly. I planned on repainting it again, I did all the body work which wasn't much. I just ran out of time so it is primer grey right now. The body is actually really straight, with a nice paint job it will look nice.

The clutch squeaking is an issue. I've contacted Trail Gear and they don't know what it is. Ultimately, the transmission will have to be taken out to see what the noise is. Everything functions just fine, it just makes a noise.

    Price drop?

I realize the Tacoma market is heavily over-inflated, but you're asking twice the blue book value for your truck, considering the cosmetic and mechanical defects.
