Allpro rear bumper (Line-Xed), rock sliders(Line-Xed), dipped grill,
I want to stop door dings, rock chips, trail rubs, and rust by spraying Line-X on my truck. But I'm on the fence for where to stop. I like the look of both, but I think the option where the black follows up the box's bed line might to be much. Tell me what you think, or post pics of what you've done.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my piss poor MSPaint job.

Instead of linex, do plastidip, that way if you don't like it, you can just peel it off.
you can buy whole kits to do it on dipyourcar.com

I'm not a huge fan of that approach, but between the 2 pictures, the first one definitely looks better IMO.

I'd say go for camoliner if it wasn't so expensive....Think they want about $5k to Kevlar coat a truck. Nice stuff though.

Are you keeping the truck forever? Think resale value...
But if you are set on doing it i vote for the first picture.

2nd pic. I was thinking about painting a Tacoma the same way, without the bottom strip though.

But really, you should just go all the way at that point and cover the whole thing, but no, not the glass.

The linex on my truck held up great for 5 years and was still great when I sold it. Even on the step bars. I wish the paint/chrome could have held up that well.

Of the two options, I'd go with the first. Also, to keep it a little more "factory" looking, they are able to color-match the bed coatings, so it would just like you have an extreme case of the factory chip guard on your truck.
