    Anyone know were i can find a high output rebuild kit for
    my alternator on a 3.4 2000

    What does it need?

    The alternator on my 96 had gotten soooo much mud & crap inside it from offroading - I took it to a shop (alternator, battery shop) and they opened it up, cleaned it out, and replaced the bearings, brushes & what-not. It was fairly cheap to have them do it.

    Have you researched shops in your area?
