Ok, another random question... Can the poles that support the rainfly stay in those pockets when packing up the tent, or do they have to be removed? I assume they need to be removed from the pockets, but just wanted to double check...

Are you talking about the rods for the fly/awning or the overhang (like the CVT Shasta?) Either way they have to come out - they stick straight out of the base of the tent. But they do stow away easy enough tucked under the mattress

Well, I have Mt Rainier. I can tell that the rod that keeps the shape of the awning/overhang needs to come out and stores into the base pretty easily. But, wasn't sure about the 3 other bent rods that support the fly above the tent. The ends of those slip into small pockets on the outside of the tent.

Six months later..... Did every one get their tents and everything they ordered?

I would like to thank Bobby for getting this done.

Still waiting on my mat, this is despite Bobby telling me they were arriving end of August, and then 2 weeks ago someone calling me to see if I got everything and when I said no telling me I would get the tracking number in a day or two. Well still No tracking and no mat, I do love my tent though get plenty of questions about it and I have nothing bad to say about it.

I asked last week and mine was delivered today...maybe I got lost in the chaos as it was all I ordered, and I ordered at the end of the GB as well. Oh well, I got it. And I only really need it in the "shoulder season" anyway - not a lot of booty sweat problems unless the temps are ranging from 70's to 20's like they are now.

Still waiting on my booty mat. Got a tent, informed as Bobby was dropping it off himself, after 4 months waiting, the website didn't charge me correctly for the stargazer, and that there was an issue with them anyways, that they leaked, haven't unpacked it yet due to a few reasons. The biggest is still recovering from a back injury, but also my enthusiasm has tanked as a large reason I wanted this thing was for looking at the stars while in my tent on top of my truck. I'm still happy with the savings but not so much because I didn't get what I ordered, I understand there was a mistake due to the website, but let me know and I'll pay the difference and wait for the product I ordered, not tell me as you are dropping off the wrong product after waiting for 4 months. The owner is a very nice gentleman and I have read about him going out of the way for people, but I didn't even know what to say at that point and just let it be. So waiting for booty mat and calling it a done deal, not buying another big ticket item unless product is verified as well as in stock/est. shipment date.

I ordered my Mt Rainier on the last day of the GB and received it in early August. Was a little disappointed around promised ship dates that came and went with little communication, but I did finally get it.

As for the tent itself, I've been happy with it. The only gripe I have, which I didn't report back to Bobby, is that one of the holes drilled into the frame for the window supports is not fully drilled out, thus the metal support rod won't stay put on the one side. I need to find some time and drill it out.

Black Sand Pearl factory paint - flattened "au natural" by tree branches.
I had an order with an all pro rack and mt. shasta. Nothing ever showed up, credit card was never charged. Every time I called Bobby was out doing what he does. I gave up on trying to communicate, forgot about it and went with something completely different...

I do apologize...Yes it needs to be cut in half. The upper one will need to have some 2 sided tape stuck to it as it will slide out when closing the tent. We do have new condensation mat coming in that will be the size of each tent with correct width and length. This is all they said they could get but now since we had our factory here they have started making the correct sizes for the tents. Should have them in a few months. Even one piece without it will slide also. maybe a self tapper with a washer lightly tightened.

    Good morning,
We do have the new stargazer's coming in a month and would be more than happy to switch you out. Yes our system was messed up as we also noticed some people never got charged shipping on other items. All in all I failed...We do not want you to have a bad experience with your tent either. We would be more than willing to switch you out so you can enjoy it. Hope your back gets to feeling better. Please let me know.

    Thank you,

    Bobby
