Royal carpet extractor with the upholstery attachment is what I use. You can do the entire inside of truck and your house too!

I think if you have a need for a vacuum in your life, you should own an extractor too

    Tuff stuff is good/should work.

Just throwing this out there; my neighbor previously had a Sport and worked it to where he literally took the entire upholstery off and just washed the damn things... It was a science and he has a youtube vid on it but that's ballsy and not up my alley...
    (can't find the vid btw)

    just DONT use oxiclean! :)

learned the hard way, it is almost impossible to get that stuff out after it soaks in. spent a whole weekend using other products and vacuums to get the oxiclean out!

side note if you have leather you must use "kali" alot of toyota dealership service departments actually sell it now. its made in Maurice, LA about 17 miles from my house and have used it on all my vehicles with leather and it is hands down the best! i bought a lexus in 1998, used this stuff on it about once a month. i put it for sale in 2008, the first person who came look at it paid asking price. she said they looked at probably 25 others of the same make/model and this is the only one that the seats WHERE THE EXACT SAME COLOR no darkening! even though the leather was light beige on every seat the color matched like new and had no creases or cracks, just like the day it was made!

sorry if it sounds like a commercial, but... well hell it kinda is, this stuff works awesome!

This is what I plan to do. One of these days I'm going to rent it and clean my entire Tacoma interior, the entire interior of the Ram and Prius, and the floors and floor mats of my G35 and M5 (leather seats). I'm gonna make my rental worth it. Best time is to do it early in the morning so the car can sit in the sun the rest of the day to dry out. Crack a window so the moisture can escape.

If I have time I'll even bring the thing into my house and do some carpets lol.

When I had my 2007 Sport and 2011 Off-Road I used my girlfriend's handheld garment steamer and a scrub brush. Worked for the usual stuff - spots of coffee, Monster Energy Drink accidents, boogers, ya know...

That may be a good idea, but for a little more you could just take it to a detail shop and have them to the entire inside. I think it is usually around $70-80 for just the interior and the extractors they have will do a better job than the rental ones.

If you don't want to have them do the entire interior, the might even just do the seats and charge less.

Buy the Royal that I mentioned above...it will pay for itself over time. I did my research before I bought, and this is by far the best for the price point. If you have carpet in your house, that alone is worth the investment and it will make easy work of your truck interior

I use a "poor man's" upholstery cleaner -- soapy water, a scrub brush and a shop vac. Seems to work OK. I was going to Scotch Guard my seats when they were new but I never got around to it. I'm still planning on doing it someday -- I have a ten-year-old can of Scotch Guard in the truck just waiting for the right time. :D
