I want to do this and plan to in the near future. Was wondering who all has gone this route, what kit they used and if they can throw up some pictures. I have read so many threads about the proper lift and can't come up with which one to go with. I emailed Toytec this morning for help. I am will do light off roading on fire roads in western PA, beach trips and occasional snow. I didn't want to have my payload and tow capacity suffer as well as ride quality. So any tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!:)

Searching in a forum sucks, plain and simple. They're so terrible, not just this forum but all forums. The way forums are laid out sucks.

I was simply trying to start a particular thread for people to throw up one pic and a quick answer of their set up like GEORGE STRAIT did. I couldn't find a similar thread it's a lot easier to just start a new one.

I did a few different types of searches in that forum and I would have had to look through hundreds of post. I went through about 20, of those 20, 2 were single cabs.

Sorry for the rant, but this isn't the first thread that someone has started that has been done over and over and over and it won't be the last. Maybe it isn't proper forum guidelines but until searching forums becomes more accurate, similar to how Google built their search engine it'll never end with repost.

Looks tough as hell, thank you.

Are you happy with ride quality or did you notice it to be a much stiffer ride?

Rides great in the front - I will probably eventually switch to blocks in the back because I'm one of the few that actually prefers the ride quality of blocks. My AAL is real "bouncy". I also forgot to mention that I have 5100's instead of the OME shocks.

Also just in case you haven't seen this one: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/69118-lifted-regular-cab-picture-thread.html

There are some good examples on there too.

I would have never guessed that adding a leaf would make the ride more "bouncy", I would have assumed it would have been more stiff. Thank you for the information.

Well, it's "bouncy stiff" haha.. For instance if I go over a speed bump the front is great but the back bounces me off my seat a little bit
