Sorry if this have been covered but how did you wire the lights under your seats and dash? are they on a switch? Did you just wire them into a fuse and and a switch, if so, how? I'm trying to talk myself into doing something like this with mine but I'm not the best when it comes to this type of stuff even though every one keeps telling me that it's super easy.

I'm horrible at explaining stuff. I can see it easily in my head but to put it in writing is tough for me...HERP DERP!!

I have a positive and a negative coming thru my firewall from the battery and running to a rocker switch. The rocker has a ground wire going from it to a bolt inside change compartment. (look at very 1st post of this page)

The positive wire (red) has an inline fuse and is going into it's own WAGO clamp. (creating a positive hub)
The negative wire (black) is going into it's own WAGO clamp.

Then the positives from the leds go into positive WAGO and negative wires from leds go into negative WAGO.

    Hope this helps.

If anyone else can help me here , I would be grateful...I can't explain shit very well:eek:

Ok. Now I get what the WAGO's do! Awesome! So the led wires are long enough to run from the console all the way to the WAGO hubs? What is the positive and negative wires running through the firewall hooked up to? Like, how did you splice them to run off the battery?

So, you install the led's, I have an auto so I have 3 for the upholders and 1 for the backside vent piece, those 3 (+) wires go into one WAGO, the 3 (-) go to the other WAGO. Now, if I wanted to run the (+) and (-) WAGO to a switch, how would I do that and where would I draw power from? Are the under dash and seat lights ran into the WAGO's as well? Sorry for all the questions. Just thought it would be easier to ask you since you're the one who did it and it's what I wanna do to mine, just interior only though.

****Don't hook these 2 wires up to battery until you are done with the inside leds********Do it last**********************************
    1. red wire to positive battery terminal with this spliced into the red wire
    [IMG]

Black wire to negative terminal on battery

    2. Those 2 go thru firewall to the back of the rocker switch
Rocker should have 3 wire spots.
    1 for positive
    1 for negative
1 for a short black "ground" wire that goes to a metal bolt, screw, etc that is on the truck.

Then run a red to positive WAGO
black to Negative WAGO and then you have a wired positive and negative hub for the LEDS.

Then do whatever with the leds. You will need more wire for the pre-wired leds so get extra red and black wire from walmart.

How do you wire those wires to the battery? Just wrap them around the post on top of the terminal? And when you run these to the switch, you run pos to pos and neg to neg but then run a separate pos wire out into the WAGO and same with the neg? So basically 2 pos and 2 neg hooked up to the switch?

    YES.

Here's a pic of some shit I threw together.

Also , there would be another short ground wire coming off the rocker switch but I didn't put that on there.

The 2 yellow "rings" on the end can go under the bolts on your battery.

For the wagos....hook all the red wires from your LEDS into the red one, then again same for black.

    Hope that makes sense.

Ok I think I got it now. Sorry for being complicated, lol. I did however find fuse taps so I think I may go that route. Seems the easiest for me, just gotta look into those a little more
