Idunno what your suspension setup is, but E rated + Bilstein 5100's @ highest setting = bruising of the brain. I punctured a sidewall on a 4/10 trail on P rated Goodyear Silent Armors and decided I'd try to prevent that from ever happening again with E rated Hankook Dynapros (both 265/75/16). Do not recommend... granted, the Goodyears didn't ride that great either with the Bilsteins maxed. C rated would be my choice if I could ctrl+z it all. OR P rated with replacement certificates from Discount Tire and the like.

When the falkens are half wore out the look like a street tire. Only half the tread goes the full depth.

x2. I would recommend the coopers. I'm a little biased I guess. My 285 E rated cooper tires really don't ride that rough at all, especially since I put the 5100s in the back

btw those tires are 265-70-16, if you want the beefy look, you'll want 265-75-16!

I have the old style cooper s/t's I expect to get 60k miles and they are pretty aggressive. They ride kinda rough and sorta loud but not bad.

Yep, running this size now, like it a lot. Smashed the pinch weld and have no rubbing whatsoever.

I origianally wanted to just use the stock optional size, however I did find these...

    http://www.sears.com/cooper-discove...9537180000P?prdNo=13&blockNo=13&blockType=L13

Exactly what I want, "c" rated and they get good mileage and great reviews. Only 20 bucks more than the "p" rated tires. Gonna get these this week I think.

They did really well! Most of the time I was in 2WD, unless I had to get going from a stop, but I think the Discoverers are a great overall tire, doing great in the rain, the snow, and they seem like that they are going to last awhile too.

Exactly what kase said...and the dog is getting heavy :p. Honestly, it was cool and had its perks but in reality they aren't that great. If you wheel all day, set up camp, and then never need to drive anywhere thats great. I set up camp then go hike, bike, or wheel. It's annoying having to put it up constantly. On top of that they are massive! A huge heavy brick. My next tent is going to be larger that the RTT, have a wood stove and weigh less than 6lbs. Add a cot for comfort and you have a palace for car camping.

Hopefully 100x better. Just trying to figure out how big I want/need to go. I really want to go as small as possible but at the same time I know having the extra dry space at camp and having room to have others hang out will be really nice.

I hate RV's and campers haha. Something about bringing your whole home camping just doesn't make sense to me.
